SUMMER: SammiiBEAR

This past Friday I got together with local model & creative mind, SammiiBEAR. Sammii wanted to do a lil throwback to hippie subculture. Of course I had to put my modern spin on things, but Sammii did a great job with wardrobe and makeup, as well as choosing the location. This was a bit of a test, but we both look forward to setting up again and improving on this existing concept.

This week I took a few minutes to take a new headshot for 2011. All my previous promo photos have been a bit more direct, but I feel this one keeps a common theme with all my latest sets. This photo was taken in front of my living room windows around 7pm before the sun set. Also, no Photoshop was used to create this image. The existing lens-flares and wash of light was all done in camera.

SUMMER: Cassondra Leigh

A few weeks ago I set up another tribute to summer-style editorials with Cassondra Leigh. Traveling about 5 miles north of my home studio, we shot a few quick sets on a beautiful lakefront property in West Milford, NJ. Cassie stepped up from stylist to model in this set with stunning results. We look forward to more collaborations with Cassie both in front and behind the camera.
